April, 2004, the edge of the little toe pained and swelled
terribly; the front parts of the phalange of the two feet pained, so
they could not touch the ground when walking. In addition, the 8
knuckles are swelling and painful and slightly distorted, and could not
bend and extend and could not use power. These 8 fingers are red and
swollen. There are pulsating, burning and needling pains. There is no
cold sense. When putting the hands in cold or hot water, the pains are
almost the same. Yet when the weather changes, the pains become worse.
At present, the right joint of the shoulder and the right hip joint are
painful. All the red and swollen joints feel painful when pressing them.
In these recent two months, the biting joint before the right ear
pained; could not use power to eat food; it is painful too when opening
the mouth or pressing it locally.
Compared to the right phalanges, the left phalanges pain in the slighter
way, also the left knuckles pain in the slighter way compared to the
right knuckles. Many years of dizziness and headache which is felt on
both temples and the top of the head. It is distending pain. This pain
can be relieved by pressing and striking on the head. The eyesight
becomes dim slightly. There are often ulcers in the mouth cavity. No
bitter and thirsty sense in the mouth. She drinks not too much water
daily. She prefers cold drinks. No coughing and expectoration.
There is a distending and discomfortable sense under sternum. Bad
appetite. The spirit is not so bad. Every night, she sleeps for 6 to 7
hours. Abdominal distention during menstrual period, liking pressure
and warmth on the abdomen. The bowl movement is normal, once a day.
Slightly yellowish urine. No nocturnal urination. Waist bones pain. No
pains of the generalized muscles over the body.
When the lower limbs are painful, the slight swelling of the lower limbs
appears. The feet become heavy. The palms and the soles have the
obviously hot sense. She feels aversion to coldness in winter. The
laboratory check reveals the RF(匯).
After taking herbal products, the pains could be relived. When the pains
become the most severe, the patient has to get intravenous injection to
control the pains if 3 to 4 days treatment is offered. The left wrist
pulse is thready and string-like and the right wrist pulse is feeble and
thready. The tip of the tongue is red. The tongue coating is yellowing
and greasy. The tongue is a bit dry.

After taking the herbal tea, the stomach accepts the tea
well. The dizziness is not worsened. Normal sleep. Appetite is reduced
30%. The spirit is not good. Lassitude of the extremities. Slightly
yellowish urine. The stool is not sloppy. The pains of all the knuckles
have been relived 20%. The flexibility of them recovers 20%. The hot
sense in all joints is reduced.

The agility degree of knuckles movement is improved 50%. The
pains of the knuckles are reduced 50%. The redness and swelling of the
knuckles are improved obviously. The pains of the occlusal joint of the
right face are relieved 80%. It feels much better when chewing and
opening the mouth.
The
painful points of the sole get relief of 50%. Agility of the joints is
being improved obviously. She feels comfortable to walk with all the
relief of the feet.
The
appetite, sleep and spirit became normal. The intestinal thundering is
obvious in the lower abdomen. Much gas passing. The stool is little bit
sloppy, twice to three times a day. In the past before taking the tea,
the stool is not sloppy and once per day.
The
pulse is slightly slippery and soggy. The tip of the tongue is reddish.

After 4 days of steaming treatment of herbal tea, message half an hour
per time, the patient felt her condition is being recovered obviously.
Now she could walk easily; the pains of the knuckles disappear. If
pressing the knuckles, they are slightly painful. Slightly dry mouth.
Slightly yellow and greasy tongue coating. Today, the patient felt 50%
general improvement about her condition. It is about 20% improvement
about her general condition before steaming treatment.

The
knuckles and bones of the soles feel relaxed and comfortable. No obvious
pains and swelling of the joints. Convenient to use the fingers and to
walk.
At
present, the main problem focuses on the pains of the waist bones. The
appetite, spirit and sleep are good.
Slightly red tongue body. Thin and white tongue coating with little
yellow tongue coating as well. Slight teeth marks are found. Advise to

pains of the fingers and sole and the waist bone disappear. She is now
walking normally
No
