Successful TCM Treatment Case

Prostatitis

 

Yang  Li,  male, a 31 years old man, suffers from prostatitis.

September 23, 2005.

The patient has distention and pains in lower abdomen for a month. Urgent and frequent urination. Lumbago but no cold sense in lumbar area. No damp sense in the groin area. Little reddish color of the openning of the urethra. 2-3 times urination at night and sometimes yellowish urine. Hot sense in the palms and soles. Thirst and like cold drinks. Loose stool and once a day. There is little chest oppression and palpitations, soft legs. No pains in the liver. Loss of hair. Reddish tongue body with thin and yellow tongue coating.

Tinnitus, itching eyes and much sputum. He was diagnosed with prostatitis.

plantago seed 10g£¬ alisma tuber 10g£¬ poria 10g£¬cornus fruit 15g£¬mulberry 10g,   cuscuta seed 10g£¬ phellodendron bark 10g£¬wild chrysanthemum flower 10g£¬   dandelion 15g£¬bushy knotweed root  10g£¬ bushy knotweed root  10g£¬ pyrrosia leaf  10g£¬ knotgrass 10g£¬ leech  4g£¬cyperus root  10g£¬madder root 10g£¬  peach kernel  10g£¬ carthamus flower  10g£¬ prepared pinellia tuber 10g.

September 29£¬2005.

The patient still has lumbago but distention and pains in the lower abdomen are improved. Fatigue and thirst, night urination once a night. Reddish tongue body with thin and yellow tongue coating and tooth-marks on the edges of the tongue.

Distention and pains in the lower abdomen are further improved. Appetite is normal. Defecation and night urine are once a day. He still has frequent urination and yellowish urine, discomfort in urethra. Tooth-marks on the edges of the tongue and feel thirsty.

October 31, 2005.

Distention and pains in the lower abdomen as well as frequent urination are much improved. No night urination or once a night and bowel movement once a day. A little bit yellowish urine. Appetite is normal. Reddish tongue body with thin and white coating. Less damp in the groin areas. Thirst.
