Hernia

July 1, 2005.

Gao Haokai, a little baby, one year and a month old.

Coughing and phlegm rale in the throat for one month. The appetite and sleep are both normal. No night urination. No crying. Drink much water and like cold water. The urine is yellowish. The bowel movement is once each day. There is hernia at the right side. So the scrotum looks swollen.

July 4, 2005.

Coughing and phlegm rale in the throat have disappeared. The sleeping and spirit are fine. There is improvement as to his reddish tongue body. He continues with those three dosages to consolidate the treatment result.

Now the parents of the baby asked us to help his hernia since coughing is cured. Coughing and phlegm rale in the throat have disappeared. There is hernia always at the right side, but it is not painful. Every night, the parents use the hands to help the dropped intestines back when he goes to sleep. Every morning, when he gets up, the intestines drops again. The urine is yellowish and the stool is not constipated.

The hernia doesn’t occur in these recent two days. It drops down in the afternoon. The appetite, sleeping and spirit are normal. The urine is slightly yellowish.

July 16, 2005.

There is obvious improvement of the hernia. It doesn’t drop down during the whole day occasionally. The throat is slightly reddish. The appetite is fine. The urine is not yellowish.

July 20, 2005.

In these three days,  it did not drop down only one day. If it drops down, the size is reduced 60%, and it will be upward automatically within 20 minutes or so. The appetite is normal. Yesterday, the bowel movement is twice, and the stool is sloppy. The urine is not yellowish. The throat is not reddish.

There is relief of the hernia. In recent three days, it could upward automatically after dropping down. The appetite and sleeping are normal. The stool is also normal. The urine is slightly yellowish. No cough. The throat is not reddish.
