Major
complaint: Tumor found in the brain on the left side for 9 months. Loss of
speech 8 months. Inability of the right hand and the right leg for eight
months. Memory reduction for eight months. All these reduced function remains
all the same, without any obvious worsening.
The
wife of the patient reported that Matongo was quite healthy nine months ago; he
was working in a bank as a manager. No emotional frustration. The work is not so
stressful.
Nine
months ago, there is no obvious reason that patient get high blood pressure,
headache and dizziness. So he was hospitalized for two weeks. Western medicine
injection was given without improvement.
After
he got out of the hospital, he lost the ability to walk, and speak. The right
side of the body becomes slightly hemiplegia.
Now,
the patient could not speak and could not write. We tried to enquire about his
feeling. He complains possible headache, reduced eyesight, no tinnitus, no runny
nose.
Always, drips from the mouth corner on the right side. No bitter taste in the
mouth. Do not drink much water. Like luke-warm water. The appetite is good. Not
reduced.
Daily
energy is weak. 12 hours sleep everyday, eight hours sleeps a day when healthy

No
cough, no vomiting, no shortness of breath, no palpitations. Sometimes, stomach

night urination. Hot sense in the soles and palms. No night sweat. No sweat in

The
right side of the body has feeling of pains, but very weak. He could not lift
the right hand, could lift the right leg a little bit. The right hand has no
power.
The
patient could move around the neck normally. The right hand right foot are of
edema. The side of the body has sense and painful feeling. There are some black
rashes around the neck, or at the upper part of the back. The eyes have no
jaundice.
The
pulse is slightly rapid, it is weak and thready. The tongue body is swollen,
slightly red with teeth marks. The tongue coating is yellowish and greasy.
The
histology report on February 21, 2005 made his country indicates "Two pieces of haemorrhagic tissue 10¡Á12cm
each.
MRI
made on April 25, 2005 indicates increased size 8cm

6.5cm.
MRI
on Feb 3, 2005 indicates " The left hemispheric mass almost certainly represents
a primary brain tumor".
