Drugs for invigorating the spleen and warming the middle-warmer   

 

 

renshen guipi wan (ginseng spleen-invigorating bolus) invigorating the spleen, nourishing the heart, replenishing qi and enriching the blood. deficiency of qi and blood due to dysfunction of the heart and spleen marked by palpitation, insomnia, anorexia, fatigue and weakness, sallow complexion, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, leukorrhagia and aplastic anemia, and thrombocytopenic purpura.
anshen buxin wan (sedative and heart-invigorating pill) tranquilizing the mind and nourishing the heart. neurosis manifested as insomnia, amnesia, dizziness, tinnitus, palpitation.
baizi yangxin wan (mind-easing tonic bolus with arborvitae seed) replenishing qi, nourishing the blood and tranquilizing the mind. symptoms due to insufficiency of the heart-qi manifested as short breath, aversion to cold, emotional distress, insomnia, amnesia, nightmare, severe palpitation due to fright, etc.
tianwang buxin dan (cardiotonic bolus) replenishing yin and nourishing the blood, supplementing the heart and tranquilizing the mind. the deficiency of the heart-yin, marked by palpitation, amnesia, insomnia, dreaminess, ulceration of the mouth and tongue, and constipation.
xin bao (heart treasure pill) strengthening myocardial contractive power, exciting sinoatrial node, improving myocardial blood supply. chronic cardiac insufficiency, bradycadia and sick sinus syndrome caused by inadequacy of sinoatrial node, angina pectoris and ischemic changes in ecg caused by ischemic heart diseases.
tongmai yangxin wan (pulse-invigorating and heart-nourishing pill) nourishing the heart, enriching the blood and promoting coronary circulation to relieve pain. angina pectoris, myocardiac infarction, atrial fibrillation.
shengmai yin (pulse-activating decoction) supplementing qi and restoring pulse, nourishing yin and promoting the production of body fluid. injury of primordial qi by heat with loss of body fluid, marked by feeble pulse and lassitude.
dongchongxiacao jiaonang (capsule of Chinese caterpillar fungus) resisting arrhythmia, relieving inflammation and tonifying the kidney. atrial premature or ventricular premature beat, chronic nephritis and chronic renal insufficiency.
