shihu yeguang wan (eyesight-improving bolus of noble dendrobium) nourishing yin and supplementing the kidney, removing heat from the liver and improving the acuity of vision. symptoms such as internal oculopathy and poor sight, blurred vision, mydriasis and fear of light caused by deficiency of the liver and kidney as well as hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency. it also treats cataract, glaucoma, retintis, choroiditis, optic neuritis, etc.
liu of six ingredients with magical effects ) removing the poisonous quality of any substance, relieving inflammation and alleviating pain. epidemic diphtheria, sore and swelling throat, scarlatina, unilateral or bilateral tonsillitis, boils, pyogenic infections. it is indicated for such diseases as tonsillitis, stomatitis, periodontitis, parotitis, acute pharyngitis and laryngitis, etc.
houzheng wa (pill for throat diseases) clearing away heat and toxic materials, subduing swelling and alleviating pain. pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, boils and furuncle, etc.
mingnu dihuang wan (rehmannia bolus for improving eyesight) nourishing the kidney and liver to improve eyesight. deficiency of the liver-yin and kidney-yin, manifested as xenophthalmia, blurred vision, epiphora induced by wind and night blindness. it is indicated for central retinitis, optic neuritis, vitreous opacity and others marked by the above syndrome.
mingmu shangqing wan (eyesight-improving and upper-heat-removing bolus) removing heat, expelling wind, improving eyesight and alleviating pain. epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis, swelling and pain of the eyes, dizziness and tinnitus, dry stool, dark and yellowish urine.
niuhuang yiain pian (tablet of cow-bezoar for throat trouble) clearing away heat and relieving sore throat, subsiding swelling and arresting pain. acute and chronic pharyngitis, laryngopharyngeal paresthesia.
qian bai diyan pian (rhinitis tablet of climbing groundsel and spilemoss) relieving inflammation, hypersensitivity and stuffy nose. stuffy nose, foul nasal discharge, headache, dry throat and mouth caused by acute and chronic rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, nasosinusitis and pharyngitis.
