Drugs for apoplectic sequelae  

 

 

renshen zaizao wan (ginseng restorative bolus) supplementing qi, activating blood circulation, dispelling pathogenic wind and removing obstruction in the channels. apoplexy, hemiplegia, facial hemiparalysis, numbness of limbs, pain in loins and knees. it has marked effects on hemiparalysis and aphasia caused by cerebral embolism.
da huoluo wan (large bolus for activating channels and collaterals) dispelling wind and removing dampness from the body, relieving rigidity of muscles and activating energy flow in the channels and collaterals. arthralgia-syndrome due to pathogenic wind-cold-dampness, marked by numbness of the hands and feet, contracture and spasm of muscles and tendons; stroke manifested as paralysis, hemiplegia, dysphasia.
tianma wan (gastrodia tuber bolus) expelling wind and removing dampness, relaxing muscles and tendons and activating the flow of qi and blood in the channels and collaterals, promoting blood circulation to relieve pain. symptoms due to apoplexy involving the channels such as stiff limbs, numb hands and feet, lassitude and pain in the loins and legs, difficulty in walking.
yinao fujian wan (pill for cerebral thrombosis) supplementing the brain and invigorating the vitality, relaxing the channels and collaterals, and promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, waking up the patients from unconsciousness by eliminating phlegm. symptoms and signs caused by acute cerebral embolism and cerebral thrombosis such as facial paralysis, hemiplegia, involuntary drooling ,retraction of the tongue and difficulty in speaking.
huitian zaizao wan (restorative bolus with tremendous power) dispelling wind, resolving phlegm and promoting blood circulation to remove obstruction in the channels. hemiplegia, facial hemiparalysis, soreness in loins and legs, numbness of limbs.
naoxueshuan pian (anti-cerebral-thrombosis tablet) promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, restoring consciousness, removing obstruction in the channels, suppressing the hyperfunction of liver-yang and stopping endogenous wind to relieve convulsion. aphasia from apoplexy, deviation of the eye and mouth, numbness in limbs and hemiplegia in early stage of cerebral thrombosis.
tianma jiaonang (gastrodia capsule) expelling wind and dispersing cold, relieving rigidity of muscles and activating the channels. spasm of limbs numbness of hands and feet, lassitude and pain in loins and knees.
kangbao koufuye (oral liquid for health) invigorating qi and the kidney, strengthening the spleen and regulating the stomach, and nourishing the heart to calm the mind. dizziness, tinnitus, dimmution of vision, hypoacusis, insomnia, amnesia, loss of appetite, sore and aching loins and knees, palpitation, short breath. it is also effective for the treatment of the sequelae of apoplexy, cerebral hypofunction, coronary vascular diseases, alopecia and others.
